Die Erk\u00e4ltung ist noch saul\u00e4stig und macht es nicht einfach. Die paar kleinen Berge entlang der K\u00fcste nach Frankreich waren mit dem Handicap schon grenzwertig… Pumpte wie verr\u00fcckt Luft, immer kurz vorm Hyperventilieren. Folgen der Gschicht waren Kr\u00e4mpfe, Verh\u00e4rtungen und S\u00e4uern…<\/p>\n

Dennoch hat jeder Tag seine sch\u00f6nen Seiten, ph\u00e4nomenale Landschaften und neue Begegnungen. Federico aus Kolumbien zum Beispiel. Er radl’t auf einem Rennrad zwei Wochen an der K\u00fcste bis Italien! Wahnsinn, ein Kolumbianer auf dem Rad’l in Europa…? Ein supernetter Typ, mit dem ich den restlichen Tag gefahren bin. Zudem lud er mich noch zum Essen ein! Komm nach M\u00fcnchen, sei mein Gast, es wird dir gefallen!<\/p>\n

Tag darauf um die Mittagszeit, ein kurzer Blick auf die Karte, ob ich noch auf Kurs bin. Da hielt ein Wagen, Albin, ein Schweizer, lud mich zum Essen ein. Zu dem Zeitpunkt kannte ich noch nicht seinen Namen und er nicht meinen. Ein Mann, der eben nicht lang fackelt! W\u00e4hrend ich noch nicht richtig wusste, was geschieht, da zerlegte er sein Auto, um Platz f\u00fcr Terra zu machen und versuchte seine Frau zu erreichen. Nun, Frankreich + Essen = Jackpot! So war es auch. Helene, seine Frau, zauberte K\u00f6stlichkeiten, w\u00e4hrend wir einen leckeren Muskatwein schl\u00fcrften. Mhhhh…! Es war wie Weihnachten! Das pensionierte Paar lebt am Meer und sie reisen gerne mit dem Campingcar, wie man hier ein Wohnmobil nennt. Albin hielt mich auf weil, wie er sagte, weil mein Bike und ich\u00a0nach einer langen Reise aussahen. Hmm… Sind wir, Terra und ich, schon gezeichnet..? Am Nachmittag fuhren sie mich noch nach Montpellier, das Tagesziel, das ich mir f\u00fcr den Tag gesetzt habe. Was soll man sagen, es gibt manchmal Begegnungen, die lassen all die Strapazen vergessen. Vielen Dank! Komme wieder! :-)<\/p>\n

Jetzt geht’s Richtung Norden, es wird immer bergiger und der Petrus will wohl hier bleiben… Solang mich die sch… Erk\u00e4ltung noch nervt, wird’s wohl auch keine starken Tage mehr geben. Die Leistung ist um gef\u00fchlte 30 % abgefallen… Dennoch. \u00a0Berge? Auf sie mit Gebr\u00fcll!!! Noch etwa 1.100 km!<\/p>\n

The flu still unnerves me and doesn\u2019t make it easy. The few little mountains along the coast to France were close to the edge with such a handicap\u2026 I was pumping air like crazy, always almost hyperventilating. This resulted in cramping, hardening and souring of the muscles…<\/span><\/p>\n

Nevertheless, everyday has its nice sides, phenomenal scenery and new encounters. Frederico from Columbia for example. On his racing bike, he cycles at the coast to Italy for two weeks! Amazing, a Columbian on a bike through Europe\u2026? A super nice guy with whom I cycled for the rest of the day. In addition, he invited me for dinner! Come to Munich, be my guest, you will like it!<\/span><\/p>\n

The following day around noon I was shortly checking the map to see if I\u2019m still on the right route. Then a car stopped and Albin from Switzerland invited me for eating. At this point I didn\u2019t even know his name and he didn\u2019t know mine. A man who doesn\u2019t hesitate! While I didn\u2019t know what was happening, he was taking his car apart to make space for Terra and was trying to reach his wife. Well, France + food = jackpot! And so it was. His wife, Helene, whipped up delicious food while we were sipping delicious nutmeg wine. Yummy\u2026! It was like Christmas! The retired couple lives at the sea and they like to travel in their camping car, as they call a motorhome here. Albin stopped me because, as he said, my bike and I looked like a long journey. Well\u2026 Do we, Terra and I, already look like it\u2026? In the afternoon they drove me to Montpellier, the destination of the day, which I had set. What shall I say, sometimes there are encounters that let you forget all the exertions. Thank you very much! I\u2019ll be back! :-)<\/span><\/p>\n

Now I\u2019m off towards north; it becomes increasingly mountainous and it looks like Petrus wants to stay here\u2026 As long as the sh\u2026 flu is still bothering me, there won\u2019t be any strong days. My performance dropped by a perceived 30%… Despite. Mountains? Let\u2019s go get them, hear me roar!!! I’ve got approx. 1,100 km left!<\/span><\/p>\n
